Khachoe Ghakyil Ling Nunnery

The incense is hand made by Tibetan Nuns at the Khachoe Ghakyil Ling Nunnery, a Tibetan Buddhist nunnery located in the Kathmandu Valley. The nunnery was established in 1979 and serves as a spiritual and educational center with the primary aim of offering nuns the opportunity to receive a complete Buddhist education, similar to that provided to monks. The Khachoe Ghakyil Ling Nunnery is one of a few nunneries that manufactures incense which is sold to support the operation of the nunnery.
