Description
The Drepung Loseling monks are a group of refugee monks who have started a small business venture in Kathmandu in order to help sustain their monastery in exile in Southern India. Because of our long standing interest in Tibetan refugees we approached them to see how we could help them out and then developed a line of items that they produce for us. The money for these products all goes to the monastery and supports their community in exile. They set the prices and the monks make the products and live in the monastary in Kathmandu.
